The club is delighted to announce that for the 2016/17 season, Rhys Miller is taking charge of the L&G Comsos FC Second Team. Miller is no stranger to the board at L&G Cosmos FC, having signed up for the club in 2015/16 season. However, following a season ending injury, Miller was well placed to throw his hat into the managerial mix for the vacant Seconds position.

Upon Miller's appointment, Club Chairman/Axe Wielder Edward Barrow stated, "Miller brings with him a great amount of enthusiasm to the role and it is clear that he is eagerly anticipating the opportunity to put his own stamp on the teams style of play. Once again I would also like to thank Rich Morley for his excellent work as interim Seconds Manager, whom without his work we would have struggled to field a Seconds team this season"

Current First Team manager Dan Loughlin expanded on the Chairman's comments, "It is great to see the club promoting from within! I mean let's face it, if we had looked externally I would never have got the job as First Team Manager". Strange comments from the First's Manager but hey ho.

Miller's first game in charge was a defeat to the hands of Cardiff Draconians, only 24 hours after his announcement as manager. However with a whole week of training ahead of him before next weekends fixture, Miller will be able to sit down with his players and management team and discuss their plans for the season.

This is hopefully a new start for the Seconds and let's look to kick on.
